Leidy Osorio Bravo is a Dental Hygienist currently studying to become a Licensed Dental Therapist. She came to the U.S. from Colombia about 15 years ago with big dreams and goals for herself and her family.
Leidy began her journey at Open Door Health Center in 2015 when she got her first job as a Licensed Dental Assistant. Little did she know that Open Door would make her fall completely in love with dentistry! That passion inspired her to go back to school to become a registered dental hygienist, and to later return to school for her dental therapy program. Dentistry is her passion! Now she’s back at Open Door doing what she loves most: helping people, educating them about oral health and overall well-being, and learning from the many different backgrounds and cultures in our community.
Outside of dentistry, she’s a proud mom to a son who serves in the Marines. She’s also a grandma to a beautiful granddaughter who reminds her to keep her life full of energy and adventure! When she’s not at work or studying, you might find her riding her motorcycle with her husband or taking walks with her two adorable puppies. She’s grateful for this journey, for the people she’s met along the way, and for every opportunity to learn, grow, and give back to our community.
