Nikki Gartner, a behavioral health provider, received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2015. She is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and has specific training in DC:0-5 (diagnosing and treating children ages birth through 5). Nikki has experience working with individuals of all ages, couples, and families; her areas of interest include boundaries, relationship codependency, addiction, trauma, attachment, family stress, co-parenting, and play therapy. She is an ally of and works competently with individuals, as well as their families, who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or trans*/non-binary (LGBTQ+).
Nikki enjoys collaborating with individuals and families as well as other professionals to provide holistic, integrated care to patients of Open Door. Nikki joined the Open Door team in 2018.
