Open Door Health Center to Host Breast Cancer Screening Event

Mankato, MN (April 20, 2021) – Open Door Health Center is hosting a breast cancer screening event on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Open Door Health Center, 309 Holly Lane, Mankato, MN 56001. The screenings, which include an exam as well as a mammogram, will be available to women ages 40 and over who qualify through the Minnesota Department of Health’s (MDH’s) Sage Screening Program. Appointments are required.

If you are 40+ and haven’t had a mammogram in the past 12 months, call to schedule an appointment, (507) 388-2120. If you are not insured or under-insured, you may qualify for a free exam under the state of Minnesota’s SAGE program. The Sage Screening Programs help keep Minnesotans healthy through screening and early detection of breast, cervical and colorectal cancers. Screenings are provided at participating locations free of charge to people who qualify.
