Free Legal Help

Legal problems can complicate a person’s life keeping the individual or family from focusing on their health. This is why Open Door Health Center partnered with SMRLS (Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services) to create Lawyers Advancing Wellness (LAW) to aid patients with legal help. An attorney is onsite daily at ODHC to help you with legal problems that may be impacting your health. LAW attorneys can help ODHC patients determine if they are eligible for free legal services, based on income guidelines.

Services provided

  • personal safety and family law
  • housing rights and disputes
  • sealing or expungement of criminal records
  • securing help from the government
