The Open Door Culture: Founded in Mankato, Minnesota in 1994.

Our team is both compassionate and generous because we share a vision to provide health equity for everyone. We serve approximately 12,000 patients each year in our medical, dental, and behavioral health departments combined. Our patients represent many diverse cultures. Staff provide translation in Spanish and Somali and we offer translation for dozens of other languages by video interpretation services.

Mankato, Minnesota is located just over an hour south of the Twin Cities. The Greater Mankato metro has approximately 99,000 residents and is the fastest growing economy in Minnesota. There are 5 colleges within the area and approximately 26,000 students in total. In addition, residents enjoy miles of bike trails, parks, lakes, and wildlife.

Open Door Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). Open Door Health Center receives HHS funding and is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C 254b, and is deemed a Public Health Service employer under 42 U.S.C. 233 (g)-(n)
