Nurse Practitioner (Marshall, MN location)
Open Door Health Center (ODHC), a Federally Qualified Health Center, is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide patient care at our new location in Marshall, MN.
Open Door Health Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), exists to increase access to quality, affordable, culturally appropriate, patient centered health care and to maximize the overall well-being of our patients. Open Door Health Center is a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program approved location.
The NP must have a Master’s Degree in nursing and have a current MN license with a minimum of two years’ experience. He/she must have a professional knowledge of medical/nursing theory and practice, physical assessment, diagnosis, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic health. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, and with patients, visitors, and outside agencies. He/she should demonstrate successful crisis management skills, with experience in diffusing difficult situations. Experience working in a community health setting with diverse populations and bi-lingual skills are a plus.
